I am a professional counsellor and therapist for adults of all ages from 18 to senior citizens.
My approach is thoughtful and respectful, to enable you to explore your particular concerns, whatever they may be, without intrusion.
I am experienced in working with a wide variety of concerns and issues and with people from many different backgrounds, cultures and circumstances. I work sensitively with all forms of diversity, offering a non judgmental and confidential space for you to bring what is on your mind, even when it's hard to know where to begin.
I am committed to Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic method. This means that I consider what might be significant for you beneath the surface, as well as what is currently happening in your life. Life long patterns, conflicts, losses, relationships and concerns are thought about in the context of how they may be influencing your present situation. Relief and changes for the better then become possible, developing from a grounded self knowledge, toward the life you intend.
The support and understanding found in therapy can be meaningful to you and consequently those around you, in a lasting way.
I am a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the British Association for
Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I have an Enhanced Government Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) Certificate.
My clinical work is consistent with the ethical and professional standards set out by the BPC and BACP.
I work both long term and short term, depending on your needs
